De Marchi
De Marchi is one of the oldest and most prestigious names in Italian cycling apparel, founded in 1945 by Emilio De Marchi in Conegliano just after the end of the Second World War. There is a long list of firsts from this company, including buckskin chamois, gel padding, air channels in the chamois, and contour stitching for optimal fit.
The De Marchi signature style has always been classic, luxurious, and understated, and is very much in the same league as the high end Italian clothing design houses. When you wear a fine Italian suit the style is more about the subtle fit and finish than the appearance of labels or logos, and the incredibly high quality of the fabrics and tailoring are more apparent to the wearer than the observer.
