Felt Bicycles was founded by Jim Felt over twenty years ago as a skunkworks project to build the best high performance bikes for triathletes and professional racers. After ten years of working on various special projects and refining his designs, Jim joined forces with two industry veterans to grow the operations into a serious world-class bicycle company. Felt Bicycles now has 140 models and operations in 27 countries, and is truly at the pinnacle of modern bicycle design.

Felt’s Performance Line has steadily evolved over the past decade, and for 2011 the entire line has seen some major graphics upgrades. The F series (traditional race geometry) has also received a real boost with some major structural enhancements that take an already exciting ride up to the next level.

Felt sponsors the Garmin-Transitions professional cycling team, where top racers like Dave Zabriskie and Tyler Farrar continue the tradition of Jim Felt’s skunkworks product development at the highest levels of the sport.

F Series (Traditional Race Geometry)

For 2011 the F-Series has been nearly completely reinvented from the inside out. After feedback from the Garmin-Transitions riders, Felt has blended the attributes of their ultra-stiff F1 Sprint and their ultra-light F1 SL. The new F-series has become stiffer and lighter across the board for an even better ride quality. That’s saying a lot, as we thought last year’s 2010 was up there with the best from the big manufacturers.
